Oulu’s Hietasaari is a natural gem two kilometers from the center of Oulu.
There are areas on Hietasari where you can enjoy an almost natural, lush forest, parks, and proximity to the sea, which makes Hietasari’s nature diverse and unique.
In the Hietasaari area, you can see over 100 species of birds and many species of mammals, as well as other unique animals and plants.

We will meet at Nallikari sea beach- the last stop of the city bus number 15!
During the trips, we will go on a tour of the parks of Hietasaari to observe and observe nature and from there we will continue to the seascapes. During the trip, we will spot sympathetic squirrels, and birds and come to meet wild animals, as well as trees, plants, and signs of nature.

The trip is led by experienced guide Natalia Flejszar, who as a nature photographer has taken many beautiful nature photos here in the area and observed over 100 bird species, as well as other wild animals in the Hietasaari area and has been observing the surrounding nature of Hietasaari regularly for over 8 years. She is also the entrepreneur of the start-up company Majakka Outdoors. Natalia is originally from Poland and moved to Finland 9 years ago, out of a love for Finnish metal music and nature.
Photography and wildlife observation course on the trip. Bring your system camera or mobile phone camera, and observation equipment if you have one, you can also enjoy with your ears and eyes, you can also take a notebook with you, somewhere you can write down all your observations.
